Stockland Rockhampton is a major shopping centre , located on the Bruce Highway in Park Avenue and Berserker in Rockhampton , Queensland , Australia.
The centre was originally known as Rockhampton Shopping Fair, and was built in two stages, the first opening in and the second in It was acquired by Schroders Property Fund along with two other Queensland shopping centres in January , [3] and in March , following a redevelopment focused on the theme "Where The Outback Meets The Reef", the centre won a Certificate of Merit in the International Council of Shopping Centers' Design Awards Competition.
The food court was revamped in In , property development company Stockland acquired the centre, after selling the City Centre Plaza complex in the Rockhampton CBD to the JF Meridian Trust.
Development approval was granted in October to incorporate the neighbouring Kmart Plaza into the main centre, and construction has commenced. The integration of the two centres was completed in , opening on 13 August with full completion of the redevelopment achieved in Construction starts 6 July , finishing Early Stockland Rockhampton is located at the corner of Bruce Highway and Yaamba Road, and has ample car parking which can be accessed from five points along the Bruce Highway, Yaamba Road and High Street.
A bus interchange is located on the southern side of the centre near Mandalay Medical Centre and Jetts Fitness. A hail only bus stop is located on Yaamba Road and can be accessed via the ANZ Bank entrance. The bus routes information from centre can be found from centre's Customer Care Desk or from Capricorn Sunbus.
